Site Update...Again!

Well, It's nearly 11 o'clock. I've been up to London, through the traffic again, to shoot an event in Kensington. It was a no-go event which left me feeling quite miserable. I hung out on the street chatting to some moody pap guys feeling sorry for themselves for some time awaiting the arrival of some big names, which incidently didn't turn up, before my ego convinced me that pap s**t isn't the way forward!
I drove back into the traffic and home to sunny Kent where I continued to build my website. And as a result have completed phase two of the revamp. Now I feel better about myself.

I'm not really bothered by the idea of shoving a lens into someones eye just to make a buck knowing that these people don't really enjoy it. I may be kidding myself, but for now I'd like to concentrate on the art side of photography and stick to the music.

Here's a recent shot taken at The Editors gig in Camden. I like The Editors, even more so live...

Dave Mattews @ Wembley

Tonight I shot Dave Mattews and his band at the new(ish) Wembley Arena. I was quite surprised to find NO traffic on route to the venue, I'm guessing it's as it's Half Term and all the small people are currently off again. It was great getting to Wembley from Bromley in around an hour which is definitely unheard of!
I actually really like Dave Matthews Band, I remember someone playing one of the DMB albums when I worked in the Islands and I automatically fell in love with it. Tonight they sounded fantastic, and I was almost sad when the time came for the pit to be emptied. I like Dave Matthews' music and I will go buy one or two of the albums tomorrow.
It felt great getting home tonight, it feels like I never actually spend any time here, although disappointment fell swiftly when I found that 'The F Word' isn't up for viewing on Telewest catch up (or whatever the company that own it are...). I'll try to get it again when I return tomorrow.
